Australian Slots Manufacturer signs Historic Contract with Caesars

A strain of casinos across the US are preparing to pioneer the installation of some of the industry’s most anticipated Australian-made pokies—or slot machines, as they prefer to call them. Aristocrat Leisure, based out of Sydney, has signed a new deal with Nevada-based Caesars Entertainment to lease a multitude of slots, including titles like the Britney Spears™ Slot, Big Bang Theory™ Slot and Batman™ Slot.

The partnership marks an enormous milestone for Aristocrat Leisure. In the last 60+ years of operation, never has the poker machine manufacturer secured such a large, Class III gaming contract with a single company. The deal will see Caesars-owned casinos across the US installing 200 premium lease slots games. It also signifies the debut of Aristocrat’s recently unveiled Arc Double™ and Behemoth™ slot cabinets.

The Britney Spears™ Slot made its inaugural appearance throughout Caesars casinos in August and has already caused quite a stir. The American pop-star is a resident performer at Caesar’s Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas; something that Caesars Entertainment’s Senior VP of Enterprise Gaming, Melissa Price said, “has brought a lot of excitement to that property,” adding that the company has “experienced that same level of enthusiasm for her slot game on our casino floors across the country.”

More premium slot titles are schedule for launch in the near future, including one game based on the wildly popular US hit television series, The Big Bang Theory™ Slot, and the latest Batman™ Slot release. Aristocrat is expected to roll out another highly anticipated poker machine, the Ted™ Slot, based on the comedic film series starring Mark Wahlberg and Seth MacFarlane (voice of Ted), by December.
